A Rising Company Is Bring New Jobs To The Stateline

It's a sign that the country's economy is turning around, businesses like Practice Velocity are starting to hire again.
"Because of the growth and the changes in the health care reform, urgent care itself is growing," said Practice Velocity Media Relations Kathy Hess-Holcomb.
Practice Velocity is a medical billing and technology company that specializes in providing software solutions for the urgent care industry and they're looking to hire for more than 30 new positions.
“We're looking for software developer, it, human resource, accounting, you name it, pretty much we're looking for it right now, and they are all full time permanent positions with the company," said Hess-Holcomb.
This is great news for Carla Robertson, who has been searching for a position that she has experience in.
"I was particularly interested in this job fair with Practice Velocity because they offer some of the opportunities in my career field," said Robertson.
The job fair didn't just offer opportunities for people with experience, but also attracted those looking to make a change.
"I'm a licensed architect and there’s very little positions available for that industry right now, so I’m in the need of changing to a new field," said Practice Velocity applicant Debra Dimmick.
Practice Velocity says their searching for applicants that are looking for a fresh start, a much needed opportunity for people who lost their job during the country's recession.
"So you don't have to come in with the education behind you, or maybe working in a billing department before, we do have a great training program for some of our positions," said Hess-Holcomb.
